Baraboo Golf Course and way off
on the hillside the nice
little city of Baraboo.
Some of the Ringling Circus
folk still live there.
There are beautiful scenes
in this region of Wisconsin.
I believe this photo was
snapped as we were leaving
the lake region to go on thru
Barraboo to Kilbourne City
Left afternoon of 20th of Aug.
for Kilbourne. I chose a route
out of Baraboo that took us past
the grave (roadside) of Yellow
Thunder, famous Indian Chief and
his squaw. Yellow Thunder history in
this part of Wisconsin is very interesting.
At one time he was chosen to go to the
Great White Father in Washington to-
intercede for his people. That "set up"
Mrs Yellow Thunder considerably.
