The one where we camped towers six hundred feet and all around the lake they are of similar height. The big auto camp is back of where we are sitting. This was a great Indian camping ground in the long ago. There are bear, bird and other mounds, numbers of them, where the camp is located. Here is found people who formerly lived in Kingston township - relatives of the Sheets and other families. Geologically there is much of interest in this region. Unlike most of cammelias this one has rather loose blossoms - much like some hibiscus, instead of the stiff, rather waxy pettelled ones. This head bears deep rose colored flowers.
